After having custody of our granddaughter, we adopted her in March 2008. The birth mother was not only a drug addict but also inappropriate lifestyle for a special needs child. The adoption came after neglect and mistreatment. Today, this little one is thriving and has very little recollection of her birth mother. We are happy that we followed our hearts and adopted this young one. She deserves a home of trust, stability and love.

We pray for anyone going through kinship adoptions or any adoption for that matter. It is not easy and it can be heart breaking but in the long run, it is well worth the ride.

Good luck to those hoping to adopt.

how can i adoption a child on line?

Hello Jamila,

You can’t actually adopt a child online, but there are many ways an online service can help you to adopt. For example, there are sites that provide information on the adoption process such as http://www.adoptions.com/educationcenter.cfm. There are sites for many of the service providers that you will need to help you on your adoption journey. These include Adoption Agencies, Adoption Attorneys, Social Workers and Governmental agencies to name a few. There are online directories that can help you find these services such as http://www.adoptionprofessionals.com.

If you are interested in a Domestic adoption, you will need to create a “Dear Birthmother” letter. Once again, you can find information and advice on how to do this in many places such as http://www.adoptions.com/educationcenter.cfm. Finally, there are websites that will post your “Dear Birthmother” letter online which will help you reach women from all over the country who are considering making an adoption plan for thier child. That is what our site, http://www.adoptiononline.com specializes in.

I hope this has answered your question. Please let me know if you need more information.
